As parents and advocates attempt to discuss giftedness, they are often confronted with common myths. The people quoting these myths are usually genuinely unaware that their information is incorrect. This handout lists many common myths about giftedness as well as information that will assist you in clarifying them in a manner that generally resonates well with people.
